About Disability Rights Arkansas, Inc.

Disability Rights Arkansas (DRA) is an independent, private, nonprofit organization designated by the Governor of Arkansas. It implements federally funded Protection and Advocacy systems across the state, operating independently from state and local government. The organization's mission is to vigorously advocate for and enforce the legal rights of people with disabilities in Arkansas.

DRA provides a range of services to children and adults with disabilities throughout the state, all offered free of charge. The organization also engages in systemic advocacy, monitoring facilities, and providing training. DRA intervenes in cases of abuse or neglect and monitors facilities to ensure accessibility and appropriate services.

The firm provides information on voting rights, self-advocacy, and laws pertinent to individuals with disabilities. Its priority issues, determined annually through public input and its Board of Directors, guide its activities. These priorities include ensuring safety from abuse, neglect, and exploitation; facilitating access to education and employment opportunities; addressing the needs of youth in institutional care settings; improving access to Medicaid and PASSE services; protecting voting rights; and supporting individuals in becoming effective self-advocates.

They have attorneys who help those who are disabled, someone to advocate for you or a loved one with a disability, or looking for legal advice. They have an awesome team and do a great job! You will not be just another number. I highly recommend them. Easy to work with! I can't say enough about this organization. Did I mention, it's free!

This obviously isn't a real thing. I've called constantly and they've never answered. I've emailed and they've never responded. Don't waste your time. Those with disabilities deserve BETTER!!!
