Based on my experience, this attorney would receive zero stars if that were an option. This review is about Stacey D. Mullins, a GrayRobinson family law attorney. She represented my now ex-spouse, & I am writing from my direct experience as the opposing party because her conduct impacted me & my child. Before my now ex-spouse walked out on me during the 2020 pandemic, my health was already failing. He left me alone to care for a five-year-old child who needed virtual schooling after I had already endured six years of profound trauma, loss & medical decline: the loss of a baby at eight months in utero, my daughter's birth at 35 weeks followed by four months of severe postpartum depression, the loss of twins at four months in a devastating second-trimester loss, then the loss of my beloved 15-year-old Yorkie in a traumatic drowning & my beloved 14-year-old Yorkie after his eight-month battle with cancer. After all of that, my body began to shut down. I was already dealing with Chronic Migraine, Major Depressive Disorder & Generalized Anxiety Disorder, & was later diagnosed with fibromyalgia & Complex PTSD related to the cumulative losses & trauma of the divorce process. Despite all of this, I remained highly functioning, cared for my child, & kept moving forward. That was not incapacity; it was evidence of my strength. These were not things I made up to delay proceedings. They were real, documented through doctors, medical records & hospital stays. Yet in my experience, Ms. Mullins treated my documented health issues with disregard. During a hearing, she said something to the effect of, "What is this, another letter from a doctor?" as though it were a joke. I found that deeply insulting. Doctors do not take medical documentation for legal proceedings lightly. I come from a family of doctors, making her disregard especially striking given that her client, my now ex-spouse, is a physician. Medical documentation should be handled professionally — not mocked, minimize
