I would advise against using Hill and Ponton. I called for an initial consultation about a VA disability claim (appeal) and about halfway through it they informed me that because I wasn't homeless they would not be willing to help. The intake specialist informed me that Hill and Ponton only accept clients for VA claims who are homeless. I couldn't find the precondition of homelessness listed anywhere on their website so I would just look elsewhere.

Hill and Ponton was able to take me from 70% to 100%, anytime the VA messed up the team was able to spot and get it corrected. They quickly answered any questions I had and made sure I was able to get all my benefits, these guys and gals are top notch I've recommended all my friends that are Vets to contact them.

Excellent professional Firm. After 3 1/2 years of back & forth with the VA, I called H & P out of desperation. Within 6 months they had all my denied claims reversed and I was awarded 100% permanent disability. I cannot praise them enough. Do yourself a favor, if you're having difficulties with you VA Claim, hire this firm.

Seems you all only want to help vets that can produce big paydays for your firm and not help vets who need just a little help getting to 100PT. Says a lot for the love of money while a lot of us other veterans just get to suffer as we aren't big paydays for you. So don't say you help vets, you don't. You help select vets that can make you a lot of money and to hell with the rest of us suffering.

Do not bother calling Hill and Ponton for assistance filing for VA disability back pay. I talked to them late Friday for an initial review. I was assured that I would be contacted to further develop the basis for my claim. They called on Monday morning to say they were not interested in my case. No "further information" was collected and no reason was given. They wanted to pawn me off to an "associated" firm of theirs so another law firm could do the actual work and Hill and Ponton would receive a kick back for sending me to the other firm. Hill and Ponton are only interested in appeals that are "slam dunks" that you could file yourself. Use Chisholm, Chisholm, and Kilpatrick instead, they are awesome. And will actually (gasp) put in the work to get you what the VA owes you.

I am beyond impressed with my experience with Hill & Ponton so far. From the very first contact, their team moved with incredible speed and professionalism. I received a prompt email response after submitting my initial inquiry, and the process that followed was seamless. I was able to upload the requested documentation quickly, and within no time, I received a thorough and thoughtful explanation of next steps. What stood out most was how clearly everything was communicated. Every detail was explained in a way that left me feeling informed, empowered, and hopeful. I never felt rushed or left in the dark, which is rare in situations like these. I'm especially grateful for Brian Hill and the amazing team of veteran advocates working beside him. They truly feel like angels on assignment, and I'm thankful to have their guidance as I move forward in reclaiming what is rightfully mine. Looking forward to continuing this journey with them. Highly recommend to any fellow veteran seeking trusted help.
