I had Denise Tataryn as my attorney for many, many years, like over 10 years, more like 13 I think. She is just the best attorney, always on top of my problems and knowing what's going on. I wasn't the easiest client to represent I'm sure. Her assistant was terrific also. Through the Covid Pandemic I didn't lose them.

Denise Tataryn is one of my legal heroes. She helped me fight one of those huge insurance companies that you end up with through your employer group term disability insurance benefits. Denise helped me originally apply for short and long term disability insurance benefits through my work disability insurance policies so well that both my short and long term claims were approved and I received long term disability insurance benefits for a year. Then, the big, bad insurance company did what these companies sometimes do; they cancel benefits for the wrong reasons because most people either don't have the resources to fight and/or they just give up. Denise prepared and presented my appeal to the huge insurance company so well that they fully restored my benefits. The big, bad insurance company finally got it right, after Denise helped me help them get it right. Thank you Denise! If you have Parkinson's Disease, or another disease that a huge insurance company has a hard time understanding, and/or the insurance company considering your group term disability claim is just doing the wrong thing like not approving or canceling your benefits, I highly recommend Denise Tataryn.

Sometimes it's not about the money and it becomes principal! My lawyer knows this as does the law firm Nolan, Thompson l, Leighton, and Tataryn, PLC, they know what's right, fair, honest and done with integrity! I've been very blessed to have a top lawyer in my corner and Denise Tataryn is such a good fit for me, my case and for doing what's right! She stands by and with her clients! Never acts too busy to take a message from me or give feedback or updates! This is a "real life" she is working with and it matters, it's my life, my well-being and what "benefits mean and why they are considered a benefit!! Thanks for a job well done!!

I hired Robert Leighton at this office to help with a long term disability claim after suffering a brain injury that took me out of work. I can't express how grateful I am for his wisdom and help I'm dealing with the insurance company. The claim process has been beyond frustrating and I've cried so many times over it. Robert has been a great advocate and, really, when the chips are down that's the thing you need - someone in your corner. I can't say enough good things about Mr. Leighton and would recommend his services to a loved one in a heartbeat.

It's so hard to explain what Denise has done for me and my family. You always hear about attorneys and their billing and how much things cost. With Denise, it's not that way. She is SO focused on your needs, understanding your situation but maybe the best thing is her partnership with me! She is SO knowledgeable on the ERISA subject, SO knowledgeable on really everything related to STD and LTD. And besides all that knowledge, she is so trusting, and I bet, if someone retains her as their attorney, she will become a friend. Denise saved me from so many perils and nightmares. I would be happy to have a conversation with anyone that is considering an attorney to help with their issues or claims. She is just the best ever!
