Never called me back after giving advice and offering to take on the case only if it went to appeal. I got left hanging its been months and many voice-mails left and no call back. When u are in a real bind they don't have any real assistance in joco. Best suggestion is move somewhere with less corruption in the court.

I am so happy to recommend OREGON Law Center to anyone who s legal info or assistance but, lack the funds to retain most attorneys. Diana greets you With a smile and immediately you know she wants to help you. The attorneys who give off their knowledge, education and time to be a voice for those who have none and truly believe in what they do. They are excellent attorneys who could surely earn higher incomes but, who believe in what they do more than how much out pays. I'm personally deeply grateful for having found them!!

Went to see them once and was rushed through the process and told to come back if I needed more help. It took over a week to get in touch the next time and then they told me there was no help available even if they told me to come in. Lady was a little rude about it too.. I don't know what her job is but if it's providing legal advice they should pull funding.

My three times I visited with the lawyers at the Oregon law center. 1. Our van was in dire need of repairs but we couldn't find an honest mechanic. We were stuck on the chetco when the us park service gave us a $130 ticket for overstay. Yes, we broke the law by being unable to move and unable to move anywhere anyways cuz sleeping in cars is basically illegal. I was especially concerned about trying to be able to fix the van AND pay the ticket lest the federal gov put a warrant out for my arrest. The law center told me I broke the law despite my vehicle being my domicile and it was broke down. By the grace of God I still had insurance and a tow, and we finally found a trustworthy mechanic, but the Oregon law center said we would lose and wouldn't help us. 2. Because the California DMV never sent me my title I paid for to general delivery in crescent city, I have been on the hook to get repairs and a smog pass, which still hasn't happened a year plus later despite the kindness of community members to help us fix it. Lucero with Brookings pd decided to pull me over, lie to the judge in a ticket and say I didn't have insurance, proven untrue -- been insured since the day we bought our van -- and ticket me for expired registration. I told the Oregon law center I needed representation because I couldn't afford to lose our only home and they refused. Thankfully an understanding judge couldn't deny our efforts and gave us grace. Though the Oregon law center found us and our situation of no consequence. Re Lucero her real reason with Banion to pull my van over was because I was seeking help at Fred Meyer when a loose pit bull tried to attack ours and we didn't take Thay well, including threats to our person for others irresponsible actions. Lucero delivered the message That we were banned from Fred Meyer only after she cited me for a lie and the obvious but apparently her real employer is Fred Meyer. 3. In our homeless vanlife state I met a worker, formerly of adapt, but had

I called just to be brushed off and told she wasn't a attorney and she didn't have one handy but she didn't feel like they could do anything for me. The lady stated she wasn't an attorney and she didn't have knowledge about the specific legalities of my potential case. She never offered to take my number down so I could talk to an attorney you know the person who could answer my questions and help me get resolution to my current situation. I don't think they wanted to help me from the start. Friendly I guess not helpful though.
