This was one of the poorest and most arrogant attorneys I've ever ever had the displeasure to engage with! The attorney put her phone so she could not hear me! And then she just kept talking like some sort of dictator!! I am a disabled veteran with cancer living in substandard housing in cat feces! They can't help! And she never bothered to follow up with a text or a phone call to let me know if we were engaged or not ! just let it! Who in their right mind would want someone like that representing them?

I'm not even sure why this place is even in business. The receptionist was very rude on the phone and in the end I was told that they could not help me because they do not handle landlord tenant issues. They also provided me with information for someone that could help me which was false. I'm a person with a disability with an emotional support animal that is registered and being harassed by the temporary management where I live about it. I have proper documents going back well over 9 years with the same licensed counselor. How can they call themselves a Law Center when they don't offer any help whatsoever?

I'm not usually one to write bad reviews but this experience was awful. I said thank you for the short, vague information I was provided and the person who answered my call hung up on me without giving me anything to work with. Once I called back they proceeded to be very short and callous. I'm not sure if it was just a bad day but it sounded like they obviously don't want to be doing customer service anymore.

The representative who comes to Astoria once a month laughed in my face and said "I can't help you." The reason is timing. The evictions for this area are 30 days. The lawyers come once a month. Then the judge schedules the hearing for the next 48 hours which made the OLC lawyer say to me "that's not enough time for anyone to help." Well, I didn't make that choice. I asked the judge for more time for legal help but apparently they don't do that. I'm just curious why the lawyer who does this for a living is so ignorant about the timing and rude to people who are losing housing over this INSANE system. Hate to tell you but in Oregon landlords win. Period. Good luck finding justice in a law that only serves money. Even with evidence, the landlord always wins. This organization is 100% false hope just to appease voters. Autistic woman business owner evicted twice without any help from any organization despite jumping through all the hoops and spending hours of my life during business hours talking to these people.

I went in there and asked if there was anybody that could help me with divorce paperwork. All I needed was somebody to help me fill out a response to the paperwork that I received. They told me they can only help if there's domestic violence involved which there's not. They told me most people that go through divorce just do it all on their own so it's a big question of why are they even there if they can't help people that I have no money???
