Paul D. Burns

Paul D. Burns is an attorney practicing commercial litigation, employment law, and construction law. He represents clients in state and federal courts across Iowa, handling disputes through trials, mediations, and arbitrations. In his construction practice, Mr. Burns advises general contractors, subcontractors, owners, and design professionals on a variety of construction disputes. He also counsels businesses in complex litigation and appeals, having served as lead counsel in numerous jury and bench trials and arguing before appellate courts, including the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Iowa Supreme Court.

Mr. Burns joined Bradley & Riley PC in 1997 and is a member of its Board of Directors. Prior to private practice, he served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Harold D. Vietor, United States District Judge for the Southern District of Iowa.
