Max and Andy provide the best chance of a desired outcome. I met them both about 10 years ago. They must have made a decent chunk of change but that doesn't motivate them. Its their clients. This last case i had ,max took on our case for free because he believed in me and the process paid off. All charges dismissed. Another time during trial it took the jury about 20 minutes to decide not guilty. He is the best and I consider famil4

Horrible attorneys! From the beginning, Kelly calling her client in her opening statement "a jerk" all the way to the end with Mike.. No need to explain the entire.process, worst.20$ ever spent, PERIOD! Johnson County is a joke!

Highly recommend, they are top of the line. It's more than just a paycheck to them, they make it personal. Very hard to find someone that does that, just shows how much they truly care. Thanks for all your help. You WON'T regret hiring them.

"If you are looking for a team that will truly have your back, look no further. This is hands down the best legal team you could have on your side. Throughout a long and difficult process, Kathy and the entire team were consistently in contact, showing up for me every single time. They even traveled miles out of their way to support my case. I am forever grateful for their dedication during one of the hardest times of my life. To not choose them would be a mistake , they go above and beyond to fight for their clients!" Forever grateful and blessed to have done the research and find them ! This is who you want to have your back when you need it!

The people at this law firm are amazing to work with. Everyone is extremely professional & flexible. Amber Harrison has been particularly helpful in her guidance direction concerning numerous projects we've been entrusted to complete for the firm. Her & Jeanne have invaluable throughout our Companies relationship! Thanks again! 👏👏👏

If I could give this firm zero stars, I would. My family hired The Criminal Defense Team for two criminal cases and paid over $30,000 in legal fees. Looking back, hiring this firm is one of the biggest regrets we've ever had. When we first hired the firm, Andy spent over an hour on the phone with me explaining the process and assuring us they believed they could beat the charges. After we had already retained the firm, Kelly told a member of my family that getting the case dismissed was "guaranteed." Unfortunately, our experience did not match those assurances. The first case felt like an assembly line. A different attorney appeared at nearly every hearing, and the attorney who handled sentencing seemed unfamiliar with the case. We were also never informed that accepting the plea agreement could negatively affect the second case. During this time, Kelly accused me of posting a negative Google review even though I had never written one. When I told her I hadn't, her response was so unprofessional that I requested she be removed from our second case. The biggest issue throughout both cases was communication. We were rarely, if ever, proactively kept informed. Whenever something changed, we often found out by checking MyCase ourselves and then had to call the office to determine what was happening. We learned about appellate decisions this way, and we even discovered that a change-of-plea hearing had been requested before anyone from the firm discussed it with us. We were never asked whether we wanted to change the plea before that filing was made. After my family member was released from DOC, he called because his bond officer, DOC, and court paperwork all listed different dates for his next court appearance. The law firm itself had two different court dates in its records and couldn't tell him which one was correct. Even now, with sentencing having just occurred, the communication problems have continued. We were contacted about moving sentencing because of a
